玩具兵. Martika( 瑪蒂卡)
1980年代，由於MTV台的堀起，利用影像結合音樂的新趨勢營銷，
讓一些色藝雙全的新生代歌手，有了絕佳的表演新舞台，
在80年代後期開始由Tiffany、Debbie Gibson 揭開Teen偶像歌手爆紅的濫觴，
到後期的Tommy Page等，為這一波青少年偶像狂潮驚艷全球樂壇做了最精采的詮釋。
其中，擁有古巴血統的音樂才女瑪蒂卡Martika更是其中最受人矚目的一位新巨星。
這位年僅19歲的年輕女孩在1988年以一首輕快的電子舞曲「More Then You Know」
平地一聲雷空降全美排行榜，隨即以反毒廣告單曲「Toy soldiers」衝上冠軍寶座並蟬連2周冠軍。
乘勝追擊的第二張專輯《Martika’s Kitchen》更是邀到歌壇鬼才王子(Prince)跨刀，
為其製作首支單曲「Love…Thy Will Be Done」。同時，瑪蒂卡更將演藝觸角延伸，
開始參與《Wiseguy》等電影演出。
光從字面上來看，其實看不出這是一首探討青少年吸毒問題的歌曲。
Toy soldiers的誕生，源起於唱片製作人 Michael Jay 有天隨手翻開歌手 Martika 的個人筆記本，
發現了這首清新流暢的歌詞，經過兩人一番討論後，Michael Jay 花了一天半的時間完成旋律的部分，
並由 Martika 灌錄成單曲。
1989 年，Martika 演唱了《Toy Soldiers》，曾在美國 Billboard 排行榜上位列第五。
當年 Martika 在美國流行樂界名噪一時，有人稱她為「麥當娜第二」，可惜她於九十年代初結婚，
以後就退出了樂壇。

其實我個人很喜歡英文老歌
感覺旋律很優美.....
例如TAKE MY BREATH AWAY....不過我很喜歡是因為top gun這部電影的關係
很多英文歌太搖滾....感覺很吵所以不喜歡
