In Windows Vista, You have to add the USER "network" in the security tab under folder property.
( right click the folder you want to share and choose property. )
"EDIT" --> "ADD" the " NETWORK " and click OK.

Then go the the shared tab and choose advenced shared.
Click "PROPERTY CONTROL" --> "ADD" the "NETWORK" and click OK.

You should be able to share your stuff now.

Did you turn off the UAC ?
You have to turn off the UAC in order to add the permission to the network user.

It's all because the permission limitation of the new vista feature.
If you turn off the UAC ( User account management ) and follow my steps,
you should be able to share your folder to other PC.

I can take some screenshots for you if you want, but I am using cht Vista though.

The web's setup is exactly the way I taught you to do.
The only different is I use "network" instead of "everyone".
Anyway, never mind.

P.S. Keep in mind, hackers might send virus to the shared folders,
if you check the " full control tab ".
